Nominate Someone for the BCO Board

The BCO will vote on seven open board positions. There are five at-large positions and the Vice President and Treasurer officer positions during this election cycle.

You may nominate as many people as you feel are qualified to be on the board. The nominee will need to accept the nomination the Nominating Committee confirms their eligibility.

Nominations close October 6, 2026.

Only active BCO members may submit a nomination. You must use the email connected to your membership.

Nominees for both an officer and at-large position will assume the officer position if they receive the highest number of votes. Otherwise, they must be in the top five vote getters for an at-large seat to assume that position. Votes for an officer position will not be added to the at-large position count.

Requirements

  • All elected members shall be at least 22 years of age and have been a paying member for at least 12 months before the election.

  • To be elected to as an officer, the member must have served at least one year on the Board.

  • Any member may nominate another member.

  • No member can nominate themselves. 

  • The Nominating Committee will ensure that the nominees can serve in accordance with the rules outlined in these bylaws.

Elections

Elections will take place at the November Membership Meeting (date and location to be announced). Members may cast their votes via printed ballot at this meeting. The BCO does not allow for electronic or proxy voting.

The following board members terms will be ending and would need re-nominations to maintain their seats on the board:
