Attendance
Since all events are non-ticketed, it is hard to gauge exact attendance numbers but we gather the number of people who purchase books, access the website map, and pass through certain checkpoints to develop an estimate.

  • 2024 Attendance: 2,000

  • 2024 Kid’s Fest Attendance: 300

  • 2025 Goal Attendance: 2,500

  • 2025 Goal Kid’s Fest Attendance: 350

Garden Participation
Local gardeners opening their yards and roofs are the cornerstone of this event. Without them, it wouldn’t even happen! The planning committee has focused on increasing the number of participant gardens over the past few years and continues to prioritize growth. Last year, we waived our sign-up fee to encourage more neighbors to join.

  • 2022 Gardens: 83

  • 2023 Gardens: 89

  • 2024 Gardens: 115

  • 2025 Gardens Goal: 125

Fundraising Goal
Each year, the BCO sets a total revenue goal for this event. This is the total sum of revenue, not specifically profit. The Garden Walk committee then works to maximize the amount raised by expanding our sponsor base and keeping costs as low as possible. Profits from the event are then used to support the community in various ways, including donations to local public schools, neighborhood beautification, and providing other benefits to our members.

  • 2024 Revenue: $40,000

  • 2024 Actual Revenue: $43,000

  • 2025 Revenue Goal: $44,5000
